Event Manager, Meg Maher, comes to Plymouth Country Club with 20 years of event planning and operations experience. With a degree in Communications from UMASS Amherst, Meg began her hospitality career at The Milton Hoosic Club in Canton, MA. Meg also worked in off-premise catering for many years with Custom Catering by Domenic & Anthony, as well as Off the Vine Catering, both out of Norwood, MA. A mother of 10-year-old twins, Meg enjoys cooking and decorating in her spare time.

Private club dress code: appropriate attire on and off the course

Most people don't even consider 'dress code' these days as there aren't many places left with one.  Casual wear has taken on a complete new meaning, it seems.  How many times have you been running errands and seen someone wearing pajama pants and slippers?  More times than you would like to admit, I am sure.  I like my loungewear as much as the next gal, but I do yearn for the days when people dressed up.  I mean, put together, shoes and bag matching DRESSED.
