I have some bad news

Fall golf is not going to last forever. Winter is coming and so is the end of the golf season. But that doesn't mean you can't find a way to play golf!

Here are the best destinations for a winter golf vacation.

South Carolina

With places like Myrtle Beach, Kiawah Island and Hilton Head (pictured), it's no wonder why this state is one of the most popular golf desinations in the U.S.. Just far enough south to escape the cold weather, not to mention some of the top courses on the east coast.

Notable Courses:

Florida

Home to the "Golf Capital of the World", Naples, Florida, this city has the second most golf holes per capita in the country. Florida itself is also home to the PGA TOUR and the courses played during the Tour's "Florida Swing".

Notable Courses:

Arizona

Let's head west for a change. Nothing beats desert golf. Nearly 0 humidity and highs in the 60's and 70's, you'll be perfectly content navigating your way around the rugged Arizona terrain.

Courses here offer plenty of opportunities for stay-and-play golf packages for pretty affordable prices! And considering it's the winter and highs will be above 100 in the summer, this is the best time to explore the area.

Notable Courses:

California

Home to a perrenial #1 on America's 100 Greatest Public Courses list, Pebble Beach Golf Links, California is always a safe choice for a winter golf trip. And if you're choosing your vacation spot for the weather, I mean... look no further.
