We have had a wet Spring here in New England, and had more showers than ever it seems! Celebrating a new addition to the family with a baby shower is a rite of passage all parents-to-be should experience. Friends and family gather with gifts and well wishes in anticipation of the ten little fingers and ten little toes on the way.

In this next installment of 'the smallest details matter' I will be addressing what can be literally the smallest item you may need to think of at your event! TABLE NUMBERS! Seems silly...almost insignificant, right? Well, as I pointed out last time, the details set the tone for the whole event. When every detail works together you create an unforgettable time.

When it comes to planning an event of any kind, there are 2 kids of hosts: laid back, no frills, let the party happen kind of people...and detail oriented, go-all-out kind of people. I identifiy with the latter for sure. When it comes to entertaining, my motto is "go big or go home" and that doesn't always mean a huge budget, theme party or over the top extravagance. When I 'go big' it means I pay attention to every little detail. In this blog post (part one of many), I will discuss the ever-important detail of the invitation.
My friends and family often ask me "how much" of something they should have when entertaining. "Meg--how many lasagnas should I make?" "Meg--how much beer should I get?" Well, the answers to these come from years of event planning as well as some very useful cheat sheets!

One of the questions I have added into my repertoire for chatting with brides and grooms is whether they will have photos done before or after their wedding ceremony. Traditionally, the groom is 'not supposed' to see the bride before the wedding. But do you know where this tradition came from?
If you are like any of the brides that I meet with weekly, you have a million ideas for your big day swirling in your head! Just like setting your budget, selecting your date and finding the perfect venue, selecting your color palate is an important step in your wedding planning process.
There is more to planning an event than finding the perfect venue with amazing views and scrumptious food. When it comes to planning any event, the key is to assemble a team of professionals who work seamlessly together to make your event feel flawless! Here at PCC, we have a fantastic list of preferred vendors to accommodate your every event need and I am always thrilled to pass it along to any host.
Golf courses are some of the most beautiful spots on earth. We pride ourselves on how beautiful it is here at Plymouth Country Club, and our Superintendent as well as grounds crew work countless hours to make it so. There are some courses, however, that really take the cake when it comes to breathtaking! I've put a little visual together below for you to enjoy and dream a bit about your next golf vacation.

This is the season I get to meet with countless newly engaged couples planning the most important day of their lives. Some couples know exactly what they want, some have never even been to a wedding, and most, come in completely overwhelmed by the amount of information that was thrown at them once that ring was on her finger!
