When it comes to an important day like your wedding, you want to be sure that everything goes as smoothly as possible.  Couples plan their wedding day with meticulous attention to details...who is the caterer?  Where is the ceremony being held?  What time will the photographer arrive?  These questions and countless more are put in front of everyone planning a wedding.

The one thing golf fanatics might enjoy doing more than actually playing the game of golf? Talking about the game of golf. Everyone has their opinions on the swing, the strategy and the way the game should be played.

We have had a wet Spring here in New England, and had more showers than ever it seems!  Celebrating a new addition to the family with a baby shower is a rite of passage all parents-to-be should experience.  Friends and family gather with gifts and well wishes in anticipation of the ten little fingers and ten little toes on the way.

You might know the story. In 1620, the Pilrims land at Plymouth Rock and settle in Plymouth, Massachusetts by way of the Mayflower. As one of the earliest American settlements and the location of the first Thanksgiving feast, Plymouth came to be known as America's Hometown.

Buying a new set of golf clubs is all part of being a golfer. Yes, it can be an expensive process. Especially between getting fitted for the clubs and buying  a set of irons which can run you anywhere between $300 and $1200 dollars.

Plymouth Rock, Plimoth Plantation, the Mayflower. All things that you normally would associate with Plymouth, Massachusetts.

But you know what else is pretty great about this special place? The golf courses! Here's why the golf in Plymouth is so unique.

In this next installment of 'the smallest details matter' I will be addressing what can be literally the smallest item you may need to think of at your event!  TABLE NUMBERS!  Seems silly...almost insignificant, right?  Well, as I pointed out last time, the details set the tone for the whole event.  When every detail works together you create an unforgettable time.

When it comes to planning an event of any kind, there are 2 kids of hosts:  laid back, no frills, let the party happen kind of people...and detail oriented, go-all-out kind of people.  I identifiy with the latter for sure. When it comes to entertaining, my motto is "go big or go home" and that doesn't always mean a huge budget, theme party or over the top extravagance.  When I 'go big' it means I pay attention to every little detail.  In this blog post (part one of many), I will discuss the ever-important detail of the invitation.
