Event Manager, Meg Maher, comes to Plymouth Country Club with 20 years of event planning and operations experience. With a degree in Communications from UMASS Amherst, Meg began her hospitality career at The Milton Hoosic Club in Canton, MA. Meg also worked in off-premise catering for many years with Custom Catering by Domenic & Anthony, as well as Off the Vine Catering, both out of Norwood, MA. A mother of 10-year-old twins, Meg enjoys cooking and decorating in her spare time.

He popped the question and you said 'yes'!  What an exciting time.  The first question out of everyone's mouth is:  "when is the wedding?".  This strikes fear and anxiety into even the calmest of couples.  The sheer magnitude of planning an event as big and important as a wedding can be overwhelming.  In my humble opinion as a 20-year veteran event professional, the shorter the engagement, the less anxiety you will have!  In celebrity wedding planner Shawn Rabideau's definition, (the ideal engagement length is) ten months — (enough time) to plan their dream ceremony without overplanning and obsessing.

On a sunny and crisp day in April, we were lucky enough to have Ladybug Photography do a photo shoot at Plymouth Country Club, and the results are truly beautiful!

Our sincere thanks to Caitlin and Luke Sullivan for re-enacting their PCC wedding for us!  Caitlin's glow was enhanced by makeup and hair by Erin MacKenzie.

Why you should unplug from social media at a wedding

Isn't it funny that these days the term "unplug" refers to turning off our wireLESS devices?  By definition, to unplug means to disconnect.  What is trending for weddings and events now is unplugging in order to CONNECT.

According to Mobilestatistics.com, the average person spends 23 days a year staring at their phone screen.  The better part of a month...lost looking down at a screen.
